Fantasie on River Grasses Op. 3 in B Flat Minor is a set of pieces describing grasses that are found in healthy running rivers, be they chalk streams or freestone. I kept an eye on ecological concerns, however the pieces are rather more identifiable as poetic musings on the hypnotic effect of the grasses in river current. Too, I brought in some of my feelings on the fleeting nature of seasons, and remembrances of time spent on the water. This is an album of improvisation. It is presented as fresh - and not without - some dodgy notes.
